Spread the love

Congratulations Crochet Addicted!!

Hey guys!

This flower purse has been done for a while now, 1 month I believe. But I had to wait to upload it because it’s a gift for a very nice Facebook group “Crochet Addicted”. They have a 24-h give away because they now have – grab something – 150000 MEMBERS!

You can buy the pattern (at special Crochet Addicted price) here

When they came close they asked if any crochet designers would like to participate in the give away – and of course I said yes, it’s such a great group. Lovely people, inspiring post and awesome admins! So I put this flower purse pattern on hold for them. And now they reached the 150K mark!

So here it is – in a small and a large version
– Small: 17 cm x 10.5 cm (6.7 in x 4.1 in)
– Large: 27 cm x 13.5 cm (10.6 in x 5.3 in)

Materials

Crochet hook size 2 mm or 2.5 mm – depending on how tight you crochet, you’ll want it tight, but not so tight you can’t crochet J. I used 2 mm

Cotton yarn 8/4

Yardage: 50 g = 160 meters (1.75 oz. = 175 yd.)

I used:

Small:            White for top, bottom and flower centers
1 shade purple and 3 different shades blue for flower petals

Large:             White for top, bottom and flower centers
1 shade dusted orange and 3 different shades green for flower petals

1 ball of each is more than enough!

Needle and left over cotton for joining the flowers

Fabric for lining

Zipper

Half Puff Stitch Flowers on top and bottom

You will have 12 or 20 “bumps” on both top and bottom – that is the flower centers.

REMEMBER: All flowers are crocheted from the inside (or the wrong side)!
